David Lai, one of the founders of David Lai & Tan, was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2000 and regularly handles contentious matters.
The focus of David Lai’s practice is primarily in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. He has advised and acted in a variety of general litigation matters which include shareholder/director related disputes, disputes over land/property and contentious probate proceedings. He also has experience in pre-emptive litigation thereto.
David Lai also advises clients in insolvency and receivership matters and has experience in various aspects of banking litigation including foreclosure and civil recovery. David Lai has also represented clients in arbitration.
David Lai is currently the head of litigation division of David Lai & Tan.
